Challenge 1: engaging teaching and learning with cloud
The first challenge we address in our courses, is equipping the next generation of professionals with the skills to exploit the most appropriate computational infrastructure, to meet their needs. We heavily base our teaching on Google Cloud, to deliver problem-based learning experiences and engage our students with real-life computational challenges.
challenge 2: equal access and infrastructure limitations
We use the cloud to make sure all students have access to identical computational resources when taking an exam, and to facilitate using computing infrastructure simply via a browser. Additionally, we overcome limitations in the availability of computer rooms, by making computational resources accessible anywhere.
